We are a non-denominational Christian Church located in West Louisville, KY lead by Pastor Alvena Smith. We study the bible and worship together weekly and are about not just going to church but also being the church. That means outreach in the streets are a main focus of what we do at True Believers in Christ Church.
We went from several members meeting in a house to God growing the church with an abundance of members, many from the neighborhood.
Our youth program Purpme (www.purp.me) is internationally known and have been featured on CNN, ABC, CBS, Inside Edition, and the TD Jakes Show in Hollywood, CA.
We were recently blessed with land and are in the process of building a new building to worship at the corner of 18th and Wilson in Louisville, KY.
